Re: myspace helicopters group
Fri, January 27, 2006 - 7:46 PMI found it to be about 1/5 the speed of tribe. And my snobbish side tends to think that their population is more, shall we say, common. -

Re: myspace helicopters group
Sun, February 12, 2006 - 8:23 PMI tried to find the helicopters group on myspace and gave up after half an hour. Why does the group not come up under any search?
I saw some debate about Silver State on one place. Was that it? Some non sexy guy is the moderator. -

Thu, April 6, 2006 - 4:50 PMI picked up 2 spyware cookies here, too. I use spyware nuker . They are cookies or programs put on your computer to track where you go and get information on you, to get even more spam to send. -

Re: myspace helicopters group
Mon, April 10, 2006 - 10:16 AMThe cookies that come from Tribe aren't actually "Spyware" although most spyware/pop-up blocker will report them as such. The reason is either when you log in and select the "Remember Me" button Tribe installs a cookie on your hard drive with your log in info that blockers see as spyware. The other thing that happens more often is the adds that are on both Tribe and Myspace put trackers in your temp internet folder so Tribe can say to the people who put out for example those "Free IPod" adds that 5000 people saw your add on OUR web site today so now we can up the rent for the add space. So Tribe and Myspace aren't dishing out true spyware or addware. Athough it's equally as annoying, it's relatively harmless. You can delete all cookies and your temp folder through Tools>Internet options>General for I.E. but then you'll have to enter your log in info again. -
